SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT TWG PROJECTS AND PROGRAMMES APPRAISAL WORKSHOP

The NPC hosted the Sustainable Environment Thematic Working Group (TWG) projects and programmes appraisal workshop at Oasis Motel today. This marked the third day of the workshop, which aims to propose projects and programmes for consideration for Water Security, Energy Security, Green Botswana, and Reformed Land Management in the upcoming NDP12. In her opening remarks, Ms. Malikongwa thanked the TWG for their thematic chapter submissions and encouraged those who have yet to submit to do so as soon as possible. She emphasized that the TWG is to utilize the National Transformation Strategy document to guide their project and programme proposals, as NDP12 needs to be innovative and aim for Botswana's elevation to an upper-income economy.
