NPC STAFF WELFARE MEETING

This morning, NPC held a staff welfare meeting at Royal Aria Hotel to address issues of welfare amongst staff members. In his opening remarks, Deputy Commissioner General for National Planning Mr. Kelapile Ndobano highlighted that staff welfare is important as it drives performance in the workplace. He called for empowerment amongst staff, such as enrolling in courses to efficiently and effectively represent NPC amongst stakeholders and in public. When addressing staff members, Commissioner General Mr. Batho C. Molomo encouraged staff members to serve the nation earnestly and professionally. He also emphasized the importance of teamwork and urged staff to break the silo mindset within the organization to effectively deliver on the NPC mandate. He encouraged cooperation and collaboration among the divisions, understanding that one division relies on the other, and that success can only be realized by working together. In closing, Deputy Commissioner General for Advocacy and Communications Ms. Keganele Malikongwa thanked the members of staff for good attendance. She also encouraged staff members to collectively create a healthy working environment, taking time off to rest and recharge as necessary. As usual, members of staff had the opportunity to network amongst themselves to strengthen working relations.
