NPC HOSTS BOTSWANA PUBLIC OFFICERS SAVINGS AND CREDIT CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY (BPOSACCOS)

This morning, NPC hosted the Botswana Public Officers Savings and Credit Co-operative Society (BPOSACCOS), a financial cooperative for Public Service employees. In her delivery on behalf of the BPOSACCOS, Ms. Gosego Makhamisa explained that the overarching objective of the society is to promote a culture of saving amongst Public Officers. Speaking about their services, Ms. Makhamisa further highlighted that some of the benefits of joining the society include low-interest loans against your savings, consolidation of different loans, funeral covers for members and their loved ones, and automatic shareholding in the society. NPC staff had the opportunity to further engage with the BPOSACCOS representatives thereafter. The main objective of this event was to raise awareness amongst NPC staff on financial management and encourage a culture of savings.
