NPC Commemorates Vision 2036

NPC Commemorated the Vision 2036 month through various activities, including the inaugural Vision 2036 Public Lecture that was held at BUIST in Palapye on the 7th September, 2023. The event began at 1400hrs and was hosted at the auditorium, with proceedings directed by Ms. One Rabantheng. The discourse was held under the topic "The Case of BIUST: Transitional Development Plan (TNDP) - Contribution Towards Innovation and Digital Transformation", and the guest of honor was the Minister of State President, Honorable Kabo N. Morwaeng. 

The second activity for the commemoration of the Vision 2036 month was the main event in Charleshill, which was held on the 14th September 2023. The guest of honor was the Vice President, His Honor, Mr. Slumber Tsogwane. The event began at 0900 hrs., and was held at the Charleshill showgrounds. The event also saw various government departments and non-government departments exhibiting their products and services. 

Another activity(s) worth noting was the School Outreach wherein schools were visited to teach students about t Vision 2036, the four pillars and how they as the future of Botswana, can help realize the vision.  Some of the schools covered in commemorating the Vision 2036 month include the Palapye Junior Secondary School, Lotsane Senior Secondary School and, Rethuseng Junior Secondary School. A mall activation was also conducted the day before the main event in Charleshill. The activation was hosted at Sefalana Shopper Mall in Charlesshill, and took place in the afternoon.
