The programme is structured in four phases: Diagnostics, Strategic Alignment, Cross-Sector Collaboration, and Execution. Currently in its strategic alignment phase, the BETP aims to define Botswana's true north and identify sectors that offer the most catalytic growth. President Boko emphasized the need for new thinking, creativity, innovation, and adaptability to address current economic challenges. He stressed that Botswana's strength lies in its unified vision and collaborative approach. The President also highlighted that the BETP will be integrated into the National Development Plan, underway with facilitation from the National Planning Commission. With the expertise of Pemandu Associates, known for transforming global economies, Botswana is poised for success in its bid to become a high-income nation. The workshop marks a crucial milestone in Botswana's economic transformation journey, demonstrating the government's commitment to driving growth, job creation, and competitiveness.
